Need to have a tooth extracted?

Sometimes a tooth that can't be saved has to be taken out. If that is the case, it may then be necessary to add bone filler to the cavity in the jaw where the root once was. We usually wait 4 to 6 months after extracting the tooth before inserting an implant. If the final tooth is to be positioned in a place where there is still a primary tooth, we usually insert an implant immediately after extracting the primary tooth.
